A buddy of mine wants me to build a guitar for him out of some quilted sapele, so I've been on the look out for nice stuff (well, affordable stuff).

If you're looking for some, The Don (Don Williams) has some that is awesome. Just thought I'd mention it.

That said, has anybody built a dread out of sapele and, if so, did it sound o'kay?
